I am in Ushuaia the end of the world.
One old Japanese lady live in the island alone and has small hostel named Uenosansou(上野山荘).
10 Japanese tourists are staying here now and we cook dinner together everyday.
All tourists respect the ground mother and really good atmosphere

I am still in Puerto Natales. From yesterday there are 3 Japanese in the same hostel.
We walked in the city together and went to restarante for dinner and had wine mucho and talked a lot.
It's really fun and comfortable to be with Japanese,but which means that I don't enjoy traveling except meeting with Japanese.Actualy I even feel wasting time.
It's about time to finish traveling. I am thinking to go back Japan from Hawaii.

今日はプエルトナタレスでリラックス。あー地面が揺れてないっていいな。

宿のキッチンを使って自炊をしようと近くのスーパー「MIX」で買いもの。でもなぜか野菜と肉が売っていない。野菜は八百屋で、肉は肉屋で買えってことらしい。全然「MIX」じゃない。
ところが今日はイースターで肉屋さんは休み。八百屋はやってたので、ネクタリンとペピーナドゥルセ（直訳すると「甘いキュウリ」なんだけど、味はメロンに近い)を2個ずつ買ったら2000ペソもした。これはサンティアゴの４倍。さすがパタゴニアだ。

日本から持ってきたケータイ電話の調子が悪い。使えることは使えるんだけど、すぐに電池が切れてしまう。実質、コンセントに繋いでないと使えない。もはやケータイではなく、どこでも接続できる固定電話。
帰ったら新しいのを買おう。

３泊４日の船旅を終えて無事にプエルトナタレスに着いたところです。
４日分の航海日誌です。

１日目
予定通りにプエルトモンを出航。最初に大部屋でオリエンテーションがあり、司会の人が乗客みんなにどこから来たのかを質問。ドイツ人とスイス人で半分くらいを占めていることがわかる。
自分は唯一の日本人として注目される。

２日目
海が荒れて、船が大きく揺れる。船酔いで５回くらい吐いた。１日中寝て過ごす。
３日目
船酔いから回復。他の乗客と会話したり、本を読んだりして１日を過ごす。大きな氷河もみたが、すでにあたりは暗くて写真には撮れなかった。
４日目
予定通りにプエルトナタレスに到着。船を降りるとどこからか自分を呼ぶ声がする。声の主を探してみると、なんとサンティアゴのスペイン語学校で同じだったイエン君だ。
そういえば彼には旅の予定をメールで送っておいたのだった。たまたま同じ日にプエルトナタレスからフライトがある彼は、僕が行くことを知って港で待っていてくれたようなのだ。これはすごく嬉しいサプライズ。
久しぶりの再会を祝ってピスコサワーで乾杯をした。

1st day
We left port of Puerto Montt on time.In orientation, The MC introduced me as a only Japanese. Half of passengers are German and Swiss.
2nd day
Terrible ferry sick.I threw up over 5 times.
3rd day
Recovered from ferry sick.I enjoyed conversation with other passengers.
4th day
I Arrived at Puerto Natales.When I got down from the ferry,I heard someone calling me.
It was Iain,who studied Spanish with me in Santiago.
I remembered I had sent him email about my plan.
He had a flight from Puerto Natales on the day I got there and waited for me at the port.We drunk to our reunion.

チリほど薬局が多い国は他にないんじゃないだろうか。街の至る所に薬局がある。その中でも特に目立つのは「Cruz Verde（ミドリ十字）」。
チロエ島の小さな街にも2,3店はありました。

There are so many pharmacies in Chile. I don't know other places like Chile.
The photo is one of the biggest chain named Cruz Verde(green cross).

Last day in Santiago.
I met with my friend 10 minutes.
She has work for another company temporarily and sliped out there to say me ciao.
I am really happy to make friend with her.

I finished all my Spanish classes and got the certification.
I don't beleve I took classes no less than 100 hours!
It was very hard.But now I am really satisfied.

スペイン語の授業を受けたという証明書を発行してもらいました。受けた時間はなんと100時間。
辛かったけど、すごく充実した一か月半だった。
先生たちもみんな親切で楽しかったな。
あとは実践あるのみ。

From wed I will start traveling.
I am going to go Patagonia（south area of South America).

Here in Santiago, I had many precious experiences like going to a school,got robbers with gun, dancing salsa and falling in love.
And still I don't believe that I speak Spanish.

明後日にサンティアゴを去ります。次の目的地はプエルトモン。バスで１４時間ほど南に走ったところにあります。

スペイン語を習い始めて一か月半。ペラペラとは程遠いけど、なんとか必要最低限の会話はできるようになったと思う。
レストランの店員が言っていることもわかるようになったし、飛行機もスペイン語で予約できたし、自分の家族のことや、自分がしてきた旅についても話せるようになった。
自分でも信じられない!
海外で外国語を習うのはこれが初めてだけど、それってすごく大きいんだなって実感した。

Now my Spanish is quite better for 1 month and half (Don't forget I started it from nothing).
I booked my flight in Spanish and I understand in a restaurant.
I don't believe it!

I studied hard and of course my friend is more important.
I can say I learned spanish to speak with her.
Now I have to say goodbye with her and I feel really sad.
But its not last time because she said ゛nos vemos(see you)゛ .

I had a call from my friend.
He is my ex-classmate of Spanish class in Santiago.
He is English and has lived in 7 countries for business and traveling.
Tokyo is one of them.
He left Santiago for traveling last week.
He only told me that its nice meeting with me,but I was very glad to here that because I had missed everything recently.

いくらチリが南米のなかで安全だといっても、やっぱり貧しい人たちの姿はどこにでもある。
お金をこう人や、わずかな物を路上で売る子供。強盗未遂にも一回あった。
日本で普通に育った自分にとって、そんな光景を見るのはけっこう辛くて、どうしてサンティアゴの人はそんな中で平気で生活できるんだろうと何度も思った。
サンティアゴに住んでいる人は、貧しい人たちのことをどう思っているのだろうか。何度も聞こうと
思ったことだけど、単なる旅人が簡単に聞いてはいけないことのような気がする。

I feel homesick again.
I wanna go back to Japan.....

Yo fui a la escuela a las nueve y media.
Tomo classes dos horas y fui a un super mercado. Compre almuerzo y lo comi en patio de escuela.
Despues yo fui un barberia para cortar mi pelo.
En el camino al mi hostal,fui un tienda de musica y compre un CD de reggaeton.

Me gusta musica de regueton mucho.

サンティアゴの街でいま一番流れている曲です。レゲトンというプエルトリコ発祥の音楽で、レゲエとヒップホップをミックスしたようなサウンドが特徴です。

I joined international food fiesta in my school. Each students bring food or drink of theire country and have a party.
I brought a bottle of Sake because I don't have kitchen.
I really enjoyed food and dancing.

食べた後はお決まりのダンス。もう何回か踊りに行っているからさすがに慣れてきた。
でも適当に合わせてればいいレゲトンと違い、ステップが必要なサルサは未だにリードしてもらないと踊れないです。

サンティアゴで見つけた寿司レストラン。その名も「Sushita（スシータ）」。

スペイン語では、人やものを可愛らしく表現するために、名前の語尾に「-ita」や「-ito」をつけることがある。これを「縮小辞」と呼ぶ。
例えば、女性の名前「アン」は「アニータ」になる。あのアニータね。
「少し」を意味する「poco（ポコ）」や「chico（チーコ）」に縮小辞を使って「ポキート」「チキート」と言うと「ちょこっと」という感じになる。
で、Sushitaはスシの縮小辞。あえて日本語に訳すとしたら「お寿司ちゃん」かな。
